Crown Church

Crown Youth

Our youth activities are for 11-18 year olds. We want to create a place for fun and friendship as well as the opportunity for young people to explore faith and enjoy a life transforming relationship with God.

Sundays

On Sundays, our youth join in the first part of the main service for the time of sung worship. Afterwards, around 11am, they head to their groups. Led by our volunteer youth workers they explore the Bible and themes that build faith in Jesus in our everyday lives.

Fridays

Every other Friday, our youth meet at The Living Room, 7-9pm for ‘Roots’. Music, food, table-tennis and games make it a great connecting point in the week for all our young people. There’s even a pool… table.

16-18’s

There is an exciting programme of activity for anyone ‘sixth form’ age to gather for times of food, fun and friendship with the support and encouragement from our youth leadership team.

Summer

A highlight of the year is taking our youth away to the Newday festival. Joining with around 8,000 others, we camp for a week and enjoy the events at the ‘Big Top’ as well as all the accompanying fun such as sports tournaments, funfair rides and cafes.

Safeguarding

Crown Church regards the protection and safeguarding of young people and children as a priority. In the interests of safety and wellbeing all children and youth work volunteers have an up to date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.

We have a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy (linked here). If you would like to raise any safeguarding concerns then please contact our Safeguarding Officer, Pauline Housen via safeguarding@crown-church.org.uk
